Bridgeman Images Now Representing the Archives of Filmmakers Jim Hubbard and Tony Collins

Bridgeman Images is excited to share news of recent licensing partnerships with two US-based filmmakers, Jim Hubbard and Dr. E Anthony Collins.

Since 1974, documentarian Jim Hubbard has been exploring queer life, pride, parades, protests, grassroots politics, AIDS activism and the very chemical nature of film. From the 1970s to now, he has been shooting these movements on the streets of Manhattan. He has also worked on the ACT UP Oral History Project and co-founded MIX - the New York Queer Experimental Film Festival.

Dr. E. Anthony Collins is a professional documentary filmmaker with more than 40 years of experience. His Missouri Fiddlin’ project is an archive of old time fiddle music from all around Missouri, particularly of music in the southwestern Ozarks throughout the 80s. His collection also includes his home movies as well as documentaries shot in Guatemala, the Philippines and beyond.
